LRMI Specification Version 0.7 Released
The Learning Resource Metadata Initiative (LRMI) Technical Working group has just released version 0.7 of their specification. This is the final draft open for public comment. The ultimate goal of the LRMI is to improve user search experience via the creation and implementation of a standard metadata framework for educational content. The LRMI technical working group has been tasked with drafting this framework, and this is the last step in the development process.
Please review the specification and post general comments on the discussion board; technical feedback is welcome on the LRMI mailing list at groups.google.com/group/lrmi. The public comment period ends January 31, 2012.
